For some reason our trip was once delayed again. I took the children to see my parents and Alexander’s family one last time, but only I knew that it was the last time. I didn’t grieve at the fact that I would never see them again. I hardly saw them anyway. I did however feel a touch of regret about the children and wondered over the next few days if I should take them. Then I would remember Isabella’s visit from my Mother and knew it was meant for them to go too. So the next few days crept by slowly…

It was four days before we were finally ready to go..that was over three months for Raven. I had promised I would be back in two weeks! So then a new worry.

We drove to secluded road about fifteen miles from our house and parked the car against a tree. Nicky, Emily and Mora took the children into the woods and I set the car on fire. What they would think happened to us once it was found was no longer my concern. So hand in hand we all walked until we came to a cave Nicky had scoped out for the plan, we entered and stepped into the field behind Oakhaven.

I quickly surveyed the area looking for signs of destruction. All seemed peaceful! I could hear Ash yelling orders to someone in the nearby field, and Mother yelling out for the men to come eat.

“I want you to meet someone very special, But first, have I ever told you children that I am a fairy” I said knelling down to talk to them. Neil was looking around dumbfounded and Izz was grinning ear to ear. With that I let my disguise as Cassidy slip away and before them sat Dreya. Izz’s little mouth formed an O, while her eyes grew huge and shining. “Oh,Mommy you ARE a fairy and so pretty” she said excitedly. I pulled her close and hugged her tight. “Why Thank You Princess Isabella, you are a Princess, did you know” I said smiling. “Yes Mommy, the fairy lady told me” she said and giggled then started spinning in circles. Neil however did not look as amazed or happy. “Are you ok honey” I said. He huffed a bit and then took Nicky’s hand staring at me. “Great a fairy for a mom and a princess for a sister, yuck” he spat. “Yes, Prince Neil” I said with a wink and we both laughed.
