But as soon as Echo faced Raven they both burst out laughing. “I think you scared my wife to death brat” Raven said cheerfully to Echo. “Come meet your sister” Raven said patting him on the back. They smiled but as they approached, in Echo’s eyes, for just a second, I saw that he may not have been joking as much as he now pretended.

As they stepped closer two things happened. One, Echo put his mask perfectly in place, and two, I went into labor!

“Forgive me sister, I fear I’ve spent to much time at the theater” Echo said. “And too much time in the taverns” Raven replied.

I took a step back and plopped down on the stair. Raven later said I was white as a sheet. I hardly remember what happened next. Somehow I manage to get to my rooms. The next thing I know Hilla was there, bells were ringing, I could hear fathers booming voice, then I blacked out again.
